Explore the magic of Lagoon Humantay in Cusco, one of the best tourism adventures in Peru! This beautiful lagoon is located in Cusco region, at 4,200 m / 13,780 f. This route is also the entrance way for the adventurers who make the tour to SALKANTAY which is a 5-day trek to Machu Picchu. This crystal-clear water lagoon is the perfect place to enjoy an unforgettable adventure. Upon reaching the lake, you will have the opportunity to admire the stunning turquoise waters from the top of a nearby mountain and relish the spectacular view.

Trek To Humantay Lagoon Details
DAY 1 - Trek To Humantay Lagoon.
In this program we will come to pick you up at 04:00 a.m. to visit one of the new tourist circuits of Cusco, Laguna Humantay, which is a natural attraction located in the town of Soraypampa. Previously, only those who ventured on the Salkantay trek would visit it, but now it has become one of the most visited places by travelers. Visiting Laguna Humantay will take you no more than 1 day. The hike is moderate if you have acclimated to the altitude in Cusco, and the reward for this effort will be the marvelous landscape observed at this turquoise-colored lagoon.
CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA – LAGOON HUMANTAY
Our transfer will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 4:00 in the morning to begin our unforgettable one-day tour to Lagoon Humantay. Next, we will take a two-and-a-half-hour car journey to the town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy breakfast.
After breakfast, we will continue our journey to the town of Soraypampa. From this point, we will start the hike, which will take one and a half to two hours to reach Laguna Humantay. Here, we will enjoy the landscape and capture unforgettable photos before returning to Mollepata for lunch. After lunch, we will begin the return trip to the city of Cusco. Our tour ends at approximately 18:30 hrs.
