MACHUPICCHU CONDOR TREK believes it is extremely important for local communities especially the children to receive an education. Part of our education campaigns is teaching the children from these local communities about their heritage and culture. We hold annual field trips to Machu Picchu and various other sites so they can learn about their roots and history. We also hold annual visits to schools in local communities to give out school supplies. It is our mission to spread these views to other tour operators within the region as most do not focus on these types of projects. What is most important is that our goal for these children is to teach them to be appreciative from where they come from and to believe in themselves and what their history is about
