DAY 1: FROM THE TIMELESS CHARM OF CUSCO TO THE SACRED VALLEY AND MACHU PICCHU PUEBLO
Your adventure begins with a 7:00 am pickup from your Cusco hotel, followed by a short scenic drive to an authentic Alpaca Farm, where you’ll meet llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos. Our expert guides will share the fascinating role these Andean camelids play in local culture and tradition.
From there, we head to Mirador Taray, a breathtaking viewpoint where the Sacred Valley unfolds before your eyes, framed by the majestic Andes.
Next, you’ll explore the Pisac Inca site, a stunning archaeological complex perched high above the town. Marvel at its agricultural terraces, ancient tombs carved into cliffs, ceremonial temples, and ingenious aqueducts. Afterward, descend to the lively Pisac Market, where vibrant stalls overflow with handmade textiles, crafts, and treasures — the perfect place to find a special souvenir.
We continue to Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, for a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant, featuring fresh Andean flavors, local produce, and a variety of options for every taste.
After lunch, uncover the mystery of Moray, the Inca’s incredible agricultural laboratory with its perfectly circular terraces, followed by the Maras Salt Mines, where more than 3,000 salt pools glisten on the mountainside and are still harvested by local families today.
The day ends in Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town with cobblestone streets, ancient water channels, and an imposing archaeological site of temples and terraces. After dinner at a charming local restaurant, board the Expedition Train (7:00 pm) to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), where a comfortable 3-star hotel awaits you for a restful night.

DAY 2: UNVEILING THE MAJESTY OF MACHU PICCHU AND RETURN TO CUSCO
Today is the highlight of your journey! After an early breakfast at your hotel, you’ll board the first buses to reach Machu Picchu at sunrise. With your entrance ticket and passport in hand, you’ll step through the gates into one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Guided by our expert professionals, you’ll uncover the mysteries of the Lost City of the Incas — exploring its terraces, temples, and royal quarters while learning the stories and secrets that bring this sacred citadel to life. Your guided tour lasts about 2–3 hours, after which you’ll have the option to hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (advance booking required, limited availability).
We include Circuit 2 by default, as it offers the most complete Machu Picchu experience. Should tickets sell out, we’ll secure the next best option (Circuit 1 or 3), but we highly recommend booking early to guarantee the best circuit and entry time.
After your visit, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice and explore this charming town before boarding the afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, our private transportation will take you comfortably back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 7:30 pm.
