ENCHANTING SACRED VALLEY TOUR – PISAC, URUBAMBA, OLLANTAYTAMBO & CHINCHERO.
Your adventure begins at 8:00 am with a comfortable hotel pickup in Cusco. From there, we’ll journey through the Andean highlands, making our way toward the stunning Sacred Valley of the Incas.
AWANACANCHA ALPACA FARM & TARAY VIEWPOINT
Our first stop is at Awanacancha Farm, where you’ll meet South America’s famous camelids—llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos. Learn about their differences, importance, and traditional uses in Andean culture. Next, we’ll visit the Taray Viewpoint, offering sweeping views of the Sacred Valley, the winding Urubamba River, and the fertile agricultural terraces of the Andes.
PISAC ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE & MARKET
We’ll continue to the archaeological site of Pisac, an extraordinary mountaintop Inca settlement with impressive temples, ceremonial structures, and agricultural terraces. Then, we’ll head into Pisac town, where its bustling handicraft market awaits. Here, you can explore colorful stalls offering handmade textiles, ceramics, jewelry, and other unique souvenirs crafted by local artisans.
URUBAMBA – BUFFET LUNCH
From Pisac, we’ll travel about an hour to Urubamba, where you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients at one of the valley’s top restaurants.
OLLANTAYTAMBO – THE LIVING INCA CITY
After lunch, we’ll explore Ollantaytambo, known as the “Last Living Inca City.” Walk through its original stone streets still in use today, and discover the impressive fortress that once protected the valley from invaders. Ollantaytambo also serves as the main gateway to Machu Picchu.
CHINCHERO – INCA HERITAGE & WEAVING TRADITIONS
Our final stop is Chinchero, once a royal estate of the Inca Emperor Tupac Inca Yupanqui. You’ll explore the remains of an Inca palace, visit its colonial-era church, and learn about traditional Andean weaving techniques using natural dyes, a craft that has been passed down through generations.
After a full day of exploration, we’ll return to Cusco, arriving back at your hotel around 6:00 pm.
