Sacred Valley is a vast valley with a lot of tourist attractions. It is possible to Visit most of them in one day but you will have a very short time on each site and you want more time to enjoy them properly, that’s why we split it into 2 options to visit properly. Any of these options start at 7:00 am at your hotel and finish at 6-7 pm approximately. See the options below and let us know which option you want:

South Valley Trip Details

DAY 1: CUSCO – TIPON INCA PLACE – PIKILLACTA – ANDAHUAYLILLAS – CUSCO

We pick you up from your hotel at 8:00am and we go in our private van to Andahuaylillas town where we will visit the church of San Pedro, considered the “Sixtine Chapel of America”. It was built by the Jesuit Order at the end of the 17th century. Its walls are wide like all colonial buildings, made of sun-dried mud bricks (adobe), the facade is decorated with magnificent murals and two large stone columns at the main entrance.

After visit the church, we continue our journey to the pre-Inca archaeological site of Pikillaqta, we visit and enjoy the enormous urban planning of the pre-Inca Wari culture surrounded by impressive mountains and lakes.

Then we continue our journey to visit the spectacular archaeological site of Tipon, where we will see the best Inca hydraulic system. Finally, we stop in the town of Tipon, which is known for its baked guinea pig dish, a traditional food from Cusco region, it is one of the straight connections between the ancient Inca culture and the new culture. After a delicious lunch, we are returning to your hotel in Cusco.
