DÍA 1 - CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA – LAGUNA HUMANTAY

Este maravilloso día comienza a las 4:30 am, el personal de Machupicchu Condor Trek lo recogerá de su hotel en Cusco. Luego de abordar el bus privado, tendremos un recorrido de 3 horas hasta el inicio de la caminata que es Soraypampa, ubicado en el exuberante valle del río Apurímac. Después de escuchar una breve instrucción del guía, comenzaremos nuestro ascenso de 1 hora y 30 minutos hacia la fantástica Laguna Humantay. Recuerde que se enfrentará a un terreno muy pedregoso, por lo que es necesario el uso de bastones ya que es de gran ayuda.

Las formidables cadenas montañosas de Perú guardan en sus cuencas innumerables tesoros naturales: lagunas de color azul, turquesa, verde y algunas rojas. Entre todas estas joyas, destaca por su belleza natural y deslumbrante una que está ubicado en la región de Cusco: La laguna “Humantay”. Sus aguas de color esmeralda y la imponente presencia del glaciar de “Humantay” se unen en deslumbrante armonía a más de 4,200 m ((13.779 pies)).

Durante la caminata se contempla directamente el Salkantay, una de las montañas más sagradas de Perú, que se eleva 6.279 metros. Igualmente, el impresionante Pico Humantay, que se eleva a 5.917 m, también está a la vista.

Una vez que llegamos a la orilla de la laguna, nos relajamos, disfrutamos de snacks y también damos gracias a la Pachamama (Madre Tierra). Cuando esté listo para volver a caminar, descendemos a Soraypampa y tomamos un almuerzo caliente mientras disfrutamos de las impresionantes vistas panorámicas de los picos nevados. Cansados de un día tan hermoso, conduciremos de regreso a Cusco y le dejaremos en su hotel a horas 5 de la tarde.
